Recorded talks
Some of MARSS2025 speakers in technical sessions may not be able to attend the conference due to unexpected issues preventing the travel (visa not issued in time, sudden health problems, other force majeure situations). Such speakers can upload a recorded talk (17-18min) by July 21, 2025, and will have to pay a discounted registration fee at the level of additional talk fee, 200 USD (uniform fee for regular participants and students). A refund of the difference to already paid fee (if any) will be done minus a lump handling fee of 20 USD.
IMPORTANT: MARSS policy regards recorded talks as unavoidable exceptions. All well-justified requests for a recorded talk must, in each individual case, be agreed and approved by MARSS2025 Organization Committee. Please send your request to info(at)marss-conference.org only if you do not see any possibility to attend the conference in-person.
All the recorded talks will be presented during the conference at the time and in the room specified in the Technical Program. In this way, all technical sessions at the conference won’t suffer from no-shows (and from the uncertainties of online presentation) and will be held strictly according to MARSS2025 Technical Program. Full papers will be regarded as being formally presented at the conference and included into the IEEE Xplore® digital library. Additionally, such full papers may be recommended for publication in Journal of Micro-Bio Robotics (Springer-Nature), if selected by MARSS2025 Organization Committee. However, such papers cannot participate in MARSS2025 Best Paper Awards competition.
Additionally, a download option for MARSS2025 Proceedings will be provided.
IMPORTANT: This regulation does not apply to Plenary talks, all Plenary speakers have to attend the conference and present in person.
The detailed instructions how to upload a recorded talk will be provided at the conference website at the beginning of July.
