Cloned piglets produced by robotic somatic cell nuclear transfer

The somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT), also known as animal cloning, is one of most challenging cell manipulation tasks. The SCNT surgery involves oocyte rotation, penetration, enucleation, and somatic cell injection. We implemented the automatic SCNT surgery with micro manipulation robot and applied to pig cloning, cloned pigs were obtained at last.
