Robotic micromanipulation of cells and tissues

This talk will present recent advances in robotic cell manipulation systems for clinical surgery and drug screening. Techniques such as sub-micrometer position control and sub-nanoNewton force control for the manipulation of intracellular structures and deep in tissue will be introduced. Applications to reproductive medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer treatment will be discussed.
