Exploring different physics for non-contact microrobotics

At small scales, uncommon physical phenoma appear to have a huge impact on the behavior of objects. Instead of trying to get rid of them, these phenomena can be used to make remotely actuated microrobots. In this talk, I will present some of the developments made at the FEMTO-ST Institute to go from uncommon physics to original microrobots, with a special focus on the design and control of such systems.
