Big-on-Small Award
MARSS2026 will present the annual Big-on-Small Award, along with a commemorative plaque and a monetary prize. This Award is intended to promote evolving talents in MARSS-related fields of research. The target group includes young professionals (aged approx. 35-40, normally the level of postdoc, assistant professor or associate professor) with excellent performance and international visibility.
Self-nominations for this Award are not allowed. Only members of MARSS Steering Committee and MARSS Academic Advisory Board nominate Award candidates and make a final decision by anonymous voting. At the closing ceremony of the conference, all nominees will receive a certificate of Award nomination, and the winner will be announced and honored by laudation.
It goes without saying that Members of MARSS Steering Committee and MARSS Academic Advisory Board CANNOT be nominated for the Big-on-Small Award.
