Instrumentation, Virtual Reality and Haptic systems applied to Scanning and micromanipulation platforms: Research and Learning aspects

Through some outstanding examples where haptic systems combined with Virtual or mixed reality are enable to pilot mechanical micro-tools or robots, I will review the major challenges in micro/nano teleoperation and manipulation. Then I will describe how based on these research progress, we have developed interactive demonstrators dedicated to pedagogical applications and outreach of large audience to explore the Nano-world.
