Letter of invitation

If you need a formal letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa or for administrative purposes, there are two options to submit your request to MARSS2018 Organization Committee:

1) You may request for a letter of invitation using your EasyChair account, if you have a submitted paper at MARSS2018. You can download the template “Formal invitation letter”, fill in the information required, and then upload this file. You will receive a signed formal invitation letter from MARSS2018 General Chair a few days after acceptance of your paper. If your paper is rejected, then please use the second option to request a letter of invitation.

2) The second option is to register for MARSS2018 at http://marss-conference.org/registration. After the registration has been completed, you may send an email to the Head of MARSS2018 Secretariat, Prof. Hisataka Maruyama hisataka@mech.nagoya-u.ac.jp. Please include “MARSS2018_Formal invitation letter required” into the subject line of your email. IMPORTANT: In the body of your email, include your full name, affiliation, and the full address of your organization. Please also provide a proof of the registration fee payment, for example the confirmation email that you have received from MARSS2018 Registration Desk. You will receive a signed formal invitation letter from MARSS2018 General Chair a few days later.

Letters of invitation will be sent in PDF form to the email address provided.

MARSS2018 reserves the right to ask for further information to ensure the validity of requests and to prevent any fraud attempt.

Note that invitation letters do not include any commitment on the part of MARSS2018 to provide financial support of any kind.

You are responsible to take care of your own visa application. MARSS2018 will NOT send invitations to consulates or contact them in any other way.
